It would set the minimum age for both sex workers and their clients at 18, protect their rights, and make rules to prevent abuse. It would also create agencies to give sex workers legal advice and support.

People who support the law say these changes are needed to make the industry safer and more open. However, there are concerns too. Some critics worry that decriminalizing sex work could lead to more corruption and exploitation by middlemen. Also, the idea of decriminalizing sex work goes against traditional values in Thai society, which makes the debate more complicated.
