European Union funds battle against prostitution in Mallorca

Recently, the European Union has funded Mallorca and the surrounding islands with 9 million euros to take measures against illegal prostitution and human trafficking. According to our sources, a total of 38 million euros have been made available in order to rescue women who are forced into prostitution in Spain. This project aims to help around 2,500 women escape prostitution.

Although she managed to escape her captors, she was allegedly forced to go back to prostitution by her fellow Venezuelan friend who she asked for shelter.
