According to sources, the 35 year old woman contacted individuals in Colombia and promised them to pay for their trip, to get them work and Spanish citizenship if they move to work to Spain. Instead of this, the woman forced the Colombian women into prostitution from a sexclub in Palma de Mallorca.

According to the police reports, the women had to be available 24 hours a day for clients, they had to pay half of the money they earned to their captor and they had to live in unbearable conditions. The report also suggested that the women slept together in small bunk beds and that they didn’t have access to a bathroom.

After the Spanish woman was arrested, the women who were kept captive were freed and given the help they deserve. The Spanish woman has been arrested under the charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation and is currently awaiting trial.
