The police has recently found out that a Southeastern European prostitute was providing services with a fake EU ID. This all happened during the night on August 13-14 when the saunaclub at Heinrich-Hertz-Strasse got checked in the Mettmann district.

The police has gone hand-in-hand with the local regulatory immigration authorities to carry out the whole mission. There were also tax investigators involved in the operation. They managed to check 34 prostitutes in the saunaclub in 3 hours, from 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

That is when they realized that one of the prostitutes from Southeastern Europe has a fake EU ID. After checking the forged document, they have initiated the criminal proceedings for document forgery accordingly. There are also legal steps being taken under immigration laws.

The tax investigators are still working on the case and their results are soon to be revealed. The police reported that the whole operation went seamlessly. Although there were clients in the sauna club as well, their IDs were not checked.

This was only one part of a bigger operation. The police is planning to check further establishments in the red light district together with the responsible authorities. Their goal is to shed light to violations of requirements and violations as part of the Prostitute Protection Act.
